Agressive frog???

I have a small-ish (30 gal) freshwater tank and in it, among other fish, I have a rope fish and an albino frog. When I drop in the frozen shrimp the frog finds it first and rapidly shovels it in his mouth. Once the rope fish smells it he goes to it and the frog hops on him and seems agressive towards him. I'm just wondering if this is normal? The rope fish still gets food and doesn't seem too bothered but doesn't stick around long before going back into hiding. The rope fish is about 13" long and the frog is about 1 1/2". It's kind of funny to watch because of their size difference but I worry if the rope fish is getting enough to eat. Any one else have experience with this? Thanks in advance!
