Are they long like worms? Do you use "meat" type food for any fish? Do they have worm bodies and almost a triangle shaped head?

(First I alway appreciate your responces - others as well) I did feed betta frozen mos worms and blood worms and did a cleaning and have to say gravel wasn't very clean so took it out for easier syphoning (sp) 'what a difference a day makes ugh'... and I was being so careful... they are completely like threads and extra slim, just like in picture from link.. any way was saving filter cartrige and them in bottle as poss food source but disposed of them just to be careful... too small to see head but head and end seem same just come to a point... PS I read on a web site where plants fish are sold that unless one has rooted plants best to keep gravel thin spread for easier cleaning.. since my anubias nani are on rocks decided to leave it out of betta 'tanks' except for large one where I am trying to grow small grasslike plant that came in with really crappy chunk of java moss, lol, looked good bunched up (bought at new world aquarium here in NYC) and little itty bitty pieces when I put it in tank, hope it grows longer...
