Wheels on tank stand?
| | |
Posted by jilljohn (My Page) on Fri, Dec 9, 11 at 20:48
| I would like to make the stand for my 40 gal. aquarium easier to move around safely on my new laminate flooring. I was thinking of adding some industrial strength casters to the bottom of the stand which is wood, but to hold 500 pounds I would have to get 4 inch casters. Any other ideas or suggestions? |

Hi They make slides for heavy furniture which should work. Another choice would be the casters they make for appliances. These types needn't be very high . gary |

| If you try to move a tank like that full of water the wave action will spill a lot of water out, and possibly rupture the seams of your tank! |
