Another one that came up while I was away....no clue as to what the species is since I got it earlier this spring as an unnamed tuber.....pretty though :o) Dan

Very nice. Their are several typhoniums and others that have spots. What you need to do is send pictures of the flower and the leaf to Alan Galloway. His info is on the IAS website. He would be able to help in ID

Hi Peeper,

I've asked Alan when I was down for a visit with him but he did not know. I just need to send the picture to the person who gave it to me and I'm sure he can ID it.....just haven't gotten around to it since I'm really not too concerned with speices names on these guys that I just toss in a communal pot with many others. Thanks for the suggestion :o) Dan

To me, it looks like Amorphophallus rather Typhoium.
It could be Pseudodrcontium also, but I think its leaves texture reminds me about Amorphophallus.
