Is it worth it?

Planted some Arisaema tortuosum seed on October 30 and had 100% germination by November 18, but the seed leaves just died off this week after only 2 months. I thought for sure I had very little growth, but surprised to find the little bulblets are bigger than peas though the seeds were quite small. Is it worth the trouble to try to get a second season of growth this winter by refrigerating them as some suggest, or should I just leave them cool and dormant till they naturally start next year?

A related question: do they need a warm dormancy before the cold dormancy? Some bulbs are said to need "ripening" before their winter dormancy. Is there anything to this?
