Alocasia seems healthy, but is not growing in size?

I have two Alocasias in pots in my living room. I have had them for about a year. They often grow new leaves which mature pretty quickly. I repotted one, which grew a new leaf, and the original died, and was removed (which happens often to both of mine when they sprout a new leaf). But since (it has been a couple months) the leaf has not grown in size and matured. The plant looks healthy otherwise, and I know I repotted well, loosening up the roots and soil and watering properly. My other one is thriving with 4 leaves, one of which had sprouted around the same time as my other one, but has since matured and grown in size

Anyone have any suggestions as to why it's not progressing? Any advice would be great, I love these guys, and would hate to lose one.
