Does it make sense to plant callas in succession?

I have several hundred calla lilies out of the ground right now and I'd like to use them as cut flowers this summer but I'd rather not have them come all at once. Would it make sense to plant them in succession every two weeks or so? It seems like in past years they have all come at once over a period of about 6 weeks and then they seem to wind down before the summer is over. I'd like to try to keep them coming until frost if possible. Or is their bloom period tied to day length? Anyone have any hints regarding the bloom cycle of callas?

Thanks,

- Steve
