| Yes, go ahead and pot it but not outside. These plants can tolerate freezing but should not be planted once it is already cold. Put it in a very loose fast draining soil with some sand and other amendments to keep it from staying soggy. Water it sparingly during the time it is indoors keeping it only slightly moist since it has already produced a petiole. They love bright light so do the best you can. In the spring you can move it to an outdoor bright bed if you like. I started with a single tuber 5 years ago and now have at least 30. By the way, the tuber is a highly condensed underground stem which supports a single petiole. That petiole supports a divided leaf.
