I live in Zone 8, and I have mine in the ground. Any special reason yours are potted?

Just a novice here, but believe people contain these plants because they are very invasive and actually categorized as a weed by some.
Do you have to winter the bulbs indoors?

i am in zone 8 and i dont move them indoors;they die back in winter and come back around late spring early summer.

Mine were in pots as well. I also didn't see any blooms the second year and was not sure why. I took them out of the soil recently and noticed that they had spread a lot! I am guessing that since they were crowded that they were not happy enough to bloom. I am going to try separating them and see if that makes a difference. Other than that I don't know.

I only have 3-4 of these and grow mine in pots because I'm in zone 6. I've been lucky enough to have all of mine bloom in pots each of the last 3 years (I've had them 5), but not really sure what I might be doing right or not. Maybe a bit more sun and fert if they are not getting enough of either.....wish I could help more, but I'm just not enough of an expert on these or most any other plant for that matter :o) Dan
