I haven't grown it myself, but I certainly enjoyed looking at pictures and reading about it in a google search and think I may have to get one too! I have found many alocasias to be good houseplants--if I can find the room! Most mine are outside most or all the time, but if I can find a spot that gets good light and is warm in winter they do very well. Don't over-water.
