Check out aroid-l , much discussion on this subject a few months ago . archives available . Had great success with Psuedodracontium , tubers 5mm + in a few months , did these from my best spotted lacourii form.

We've done the same experiment here at the UW Botany Greenhouse several years ago and we now have several plants that will hopefully reach blooming size in a couple of years!

The method we used was fairly simple using 2 liter soda bottles as a mini-greenhouse and inside is a 30-35cm leaf section inserted into a block of moistened rockwool. From what I can recall, we did not use any rooting agents.

It took several months, but with constant humidity and opening the bottle from time to time to allow some air in, the base of the cutting eventually callused and formed several lumps that would later morph into several corms that were potted up and grown on.

Hi everyone, i am the student that Nick described in the beginning of this post, and have now taken many leaf cuttings of the A. titanum, and am awaiting results. Thank you all for the replies to this message, i am however struggling with one thing. Many of you have pointed me towards aroid-1. What is this and how do i find it. it may be me just missing something on this site, but could you point me in the right direction, or post a link. Cheers.
