Saw this on ebay, and don't think it is really what they have it listed as. They have a picture of the flower also.

It is inaccurate, but that is not uncommon on eBay.

C. esculenta has matte leaves which point downwards not upwards. The plant for sale looks like Alocasia macrorrhizos or similar.

Best to buy only from reputed growers.

yeh they are wrong. Not a colocasia, definitely Alocasia

This is certainly Alocasia odora or possibly A. x calidora, although from the looks of the leaves and inflorescence, I'd put my money on A. odora.

Definitely not Colocasia!
