Suspected Fungal Disease Treatment Question

PlantPirate

Hello,

I've been growing plants indoors for a while, but I still don't know much about them. Lately, a bunch of my plants (dumb cane, peace lilies, Anthurium) have all come down with the same symptoms. The outer leaves will get a brown spot near the tip and the rest of the leaf will yellow and die. I'm a bit worried because these plants should be quite bushy by now, but I've just had to keep removing the outer leaves.

After extensive internet trawling (this information is not as readily available as you'd think by this being called the 'Information Age'), I believe that it might be some sort of fungal disease. And a few posts said to treat it with cinnamon. Does anyone have any experience with this? How do I do it? Is it really a fungal disease, or something that I'm doing wrong? Really, any ideas would be great! I wish I could upload a picture as well. Thanks you very much!

Best,

Jay.
