Have a VooDoo Lily Seed Question

I had a few S. Venosum & a nice A. Konjac bloom this year

(Need To Update)

Can I plant the seeds from them now or should I hold off till next season

Also any tips or secretes on getting them started

I grew all of mine from corms & I sell or give away about 95% of the offshoot corms / I only keep my big ones / So I've never bothered tried growing them from seed before

But thought I'd give it a try this year for the fun of it

You must plant them while they are fresh. If they dry out they will not grow.

Most aroid seeds need to be planted fresh. I planted some Amorphophallus galbra seed when they were ripe but not fallen and got excxellent germination, close to 100%. Just waiting on some A. paeoniifolius seeds to ripen and will give them a try as well.

One more question re: planting
Was planning on starting them in six cell nursery pots on the same heavy on the compost mix I use for the plants/corms

Should I cover the pots with plastic wrap???
Best way to get them started???
