Dying or Going Dormant

Good day all. I have a 3.5 ft Amorphophallus titanum, which came out of dormancy about 18 months ago. Survived the winter indoors, and moved it outside 3 weeks ago when the temps where staying in the 70's at night. In the past 2 weeks it is drooping, turning yellow, and the the stalk has taken on a horizontal "ribbed appearance" and appears to be hollow? Do I move it into it's almost completely dry substrate now awaiting for the plant to seperate from the corm? And how do I know if the plant is dying vs. dormant. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jed
