EE Colocasia
My daughter gave a nice size Colocasia bulb to me last week. It is about the size of a soft-ball or possibly even a bit larger. I grew an Colocasia a few years ago in a pot on my porch and did fairly well. I am in a condo, so potted on the porch is the only way it can grow. This bulb is a lot larger than the one I grew a few years back. My porch is very small, only about 8 x 8 ft., so my room is very limited. However I'd like to take a good shot at growing a nice big plant. What would be considered the minimum size pot to grow one of these. And as far as potting medium...I have the regular miracle grow, peat, and pearlite that I can mix in any ratios. Any help from any of you would be so appreciated. As I said, I'd really love to make a good go of this bulb because my daughter gave it to me. Thanks all, in advance!!
