| It looks like they lifted the description from the one at Plant Delights, but forgot to lift the varietal name as well. Red stem might be Colocasia esculenta "Rhubarb". Black Magic is another form of c. esculenta. |

| I think they may have mixed up their plant descriptions, LOL. There is an ALOCASIA "Black Stem" which is a very nice plant (I have one, and I love it) but the COlocasia they are selling definitely looks like Fontanesii |

| Thanks guys. I bought it hoping that's what it was, but I still wasn't sure it was Fontanesii. It grew great for me before (in CA), so I decided to give it another shot in my new location. |
