Ariopsis peltata -- Cute little oddball from India

Well, I was downstairs and saw that one of my Ariopsis peltata that I got from India was blooming.....the influorescence is approx. a 1/4 inch long I would guess....MAX of 1/2 inch.

The tuber is also a weird looking thing......I know some of you got these from me last fall so I hope yours are doing well :o) Dan

Is that the way you grow it, Dan? Just out in the open? It is odd looking, I have to admit. Tiny little thing, too, isn't it. Very interesting plant. Thanks for sharing with us.

Hi Susan, I find that the aroids are less prone to rot if you grow them completely out of the soil....perfect drainage ;o) Dan
