| I'm getting ready to plant my first Colocasia Big Dipper. It will be planted in a large pot on my porch. I'm wondering if this plant likes any particular kind of potting medium. I have the typical Miracle Grow potting soil, peat moss, and pearlite. I was going to do a mix of about 1/3..1/3..1/3 of the three. How does that sound? Help please.
Thanks!

| If I were you, I would plant it in a heavier mix, say 1/2 bagged topsoil, 1/2 sharp sand and grow it in a sealed container in water. These do absolutely fantastically as bog/pond plants. |
