Please help me with my Alocasia calidora, Elephant´s Ear

Hello everybody,

This is my first message. I´d be really grateful if anyone could help me with my elephant´s ear: the leaf margins of all the older leafs are getting yellow, mainly inbetween the leaf veins. Later on they dry up and the leaf stem bends down, so I have to cut them of. The young leaves are ok (at first), but they are rather small. I have the same problem with my alocasia odora young plants.

The plants are in the greenhouse, in winter the temperature is between 44F° min. and 59 F° max., and in summer it´ll be 59 to 89 F°.

I use a slow release fertilizer called Plantacote, it contains all the nutrients.

Should I water more? Few days ago, one of them simply fell over - the corm was all rotten, so I guess it was too cold and too wet during winter.

It would be such a big help if you could have a look at the photo I posted and tell me want I´ve done wrong,

Thanks a bunch,

Hannah
