hello, this is my first year for planting calla lilies. They have all come up and bloomed and now some are shooting new blooms. How can I tell when the older blooms are spent? The first two blooms came about 5 weeks ago, and are now slightly blush-colored around the edges, but the bloom is all green (not white) and now mostly looks like another leaf and stays closed most of the day. I included a picture so you can see what I mean.

Also, I live in zone 8, Austin, TX--do I need to dig them up in winter? thanks all!
