I have experience with Black Magic so when people say, "The leaves are popping up green, I thought it was supposed to be black?" And i can say from experience that they pop up green but turn black from the sun.. But I digress...

In March, I purchased Nancy's Revenge and Chicago Harlequin from a nursery. I have no experience with Nancy's Revenge or Chicago Harlequin.

It's been several months now. The Chicago Harlequin has good sized leaves but I'm not sure yet about any splotches. Nancy's Revenge has leaves that are about the size of my hand.

One thing I've noticed is that Chicago Harlequin and Nancy's Revenge look the same as if they came from the same plant. The upper part of the stems are red while the lower parts are green.

My question is... How long does it take before the leaves on Nancy's Revenge take on that white/gold stripe down the leaves? Do I have to wait before the leaves are much bigger or...?
