Greetings and horticultural salutations from the Pacific NW! Starting to make preparations for the annual pilgramage to Miami for the IAS Show and Sale. If you've never attended...why not?....if you have...you know why you should...it's a great weekend at a fantastic venue, with the opportunity to meet and interact with Aroid fanciers, scientists, botanists, jungle explorers, and just plain old 'plant nuts' from all over the world. Great fun is had by all, and the access to great things for your collections is amazing. I'm also contemplating a one day 'road trip' while there, across 'Alligator Alley' to Sarasota for a day at Tropiflora...another great stop for plant fanciers....looking to recruit a few like minded sorts for the day trip, so if you're attending, I'll have a rental car and be looking to make the side trip on Thursday of that week......hope to hear from and see some of you there!
