I bought one of those mixed grab-bags of Caladium tubers from a home store this year, back about March. Despite keeping some of them indoors and warm, nothing much same up until recently. I'll have to try even warmer and sooner next year.

Curiosity- are the plants sold in those generic bags usually named varieties? It looks like out of about 20, I've only got 4 varieties so far. One each of the top two and several of the lower two in the picture. There are still a few more tubers just beginning to sprout.

The almost solid green one has a few leaves already so probably won't change pattern more, but I kinda like it the way it is.
