One of the two Amorphophallus titanum has opened at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. The plant was obtained and raised by Eddie Holick and the staff of the Cockrel Butterfly Center. Eddie has since moved on. I don't know the new horticulturalist, but he has big shoes to fill. The bloom is not as large and spectacular as others documented, but is a good start. link below.
