Hi, CF! Just got mine today. Same condition, but to be expected. Seems like a good size tuber in that 4" pot, doesn't it? My pots were extremely dry, though, so they immediately got watered.

Will let them acclimate for about a week in a shady corner of my yard before planting out. I got the 'Ruffles', too, you might recall.

I wasn't expecting leaves on them, though. I thought I would just get the bulbs.

My Colocasia Thailand Giant finally unfurled. The leaves are a little tattered.
I also bought another Colocasia gigantea from PD to do a comparison of the two. I already had one larger size of the C. gigantea and 7 tissue cultures. So I can compare them.

I can already see the TC looks a little different. And I can feel and see the difference between C. gigantea regular and Thailand giant strain.
But not any of the three C. gigantea look the same. It could be because of age difference. I have bought mislabed plants before so I wanted to do a comparison just to see.
Any thoughts on identity is welcome.

Then, I would love for you to come and see my aroids and tell me if there is anything else I can do to enhance their growth, and just generally discuss aroids.
