| I accidentally found this forum while looking for something else. I grew up on a small Arkansas farm in the 70s, and we had a Dracunculus vulgaris growing at the edge of our yard. My dad had transplanted it from his "old home place" when I was very young. It bloomed every year without fail, and even though it stank to high heaven for day or day and a half, I looked forward every year to its blossoming. Over the years I've asked gardeners and greenhouse owners about it (my dad called it a dragon plant) and I was always met with blank stares and what not. And now, bang! I find this forum! I'm not sure what my wife will think of it, but by golly I'm ordering some bulbs for next year..lol.
