The answer to the first question was easy enough...give the plant a little shade and the leaves fan out again. That's pretty cool. I guess I didn't realize that Amorphs did that. Anyone know the answer to the yellow coloration?

Looks like the yellowing could be too much sun too--but I'm far from an expert myself. I do grow all my amorphs in some shade, but as you say the sun down south here is pretty strong. If it uncurled with more shade I bet it's sunburn--maybe! I don't feed mine that much either, so it's possible that's it--but I would think you'd need to push it more than I do too.

Judging by your pic, do you spray over the leaves durring the day or when the sun is at it's brightest?

If so, it could be scorch, where droplets magnify the sun's rays on an area of leaves with causes cell damage or death. Amorphs have quite a thin cuticle and most prefer dappled light. If in full sunlight, it should be placed in an aspect where it will at least get some shade during the day. I used to give mine a fine misting early morning and evening. Most Amorphs do, however, live in nutrient rich areas and can take pretty large amounts of food.

Actually, the leaves would only get sprayed one in a while on weekends when I am home during the day. Generally speaking, they don't get sprayed during the day. I sprayed them seeing if that would cause the leaves to open back up. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.
