Hi Just plant them in the ground with the tip pointing out of the ground then water. You can also plant them in pots but pick a pot big enought to hold the roots half sun half shade is best Anna lisa

Anna Lisa - I purchased some tubers that were already sprouting - about 1", but I went ahead and planted them in the ground (about 5-6" deep) and they came up fine. I was just careful not to break off the growing tips. I've also done this with lilies and other sprouting bulbs. I tried breaking off the tips one time, and they didn't come up at all, so I stopped doing that, LOL!

Does it make a significant difference if you're planting them in pots?
