| I am want to know how to grow Alocasia Amazonica. I saw one at the store and I would really like to grow one. All the tag said was shade. Can you tell me what the growing conditions need to be. Is it possible to grow this in full sun? Can I pot it on my porch where it does not get direct sunlight? Thanks for your help.

| This one definitely needs some shade, maybe not full but good light. Needs good drainage. Will go dormant when it gets chilly--I hear various numbers from 45 to 60 at night. Makes a good houseplant too. It doesn't need to go dormant if it's warm at night, and those lovely heavy leaves tolerate lower humidity than some. |
