| I recently purchased an Amorphophallus paeonifolius on eBay. The plant arrived in excellent condition and health. There are two stalks (one about two feet and the other about a foot or so). Am I correct in assuming that there are two tubers in the pot or can one tuber send up multiple stalks. Also, after the plant goes dormant in the fall (assuming there are two tubers) should I separate them and plant separately or can I leave them together. Am new to these fascinating plants. Thank you! |

| This Amorphophallus species can produce two stalks from one bulb. also it will start to produce bulbs of the side of the mother bulb; i just pull these off and plant them so that it will not take energy from the mother bulb. |
