Hello,

my dracunculus vulgaris has 4 giant stalks of red berries here in Maryland. I have no greenhouse, no bright windowsills, just a yard. The plant has lived well for 6 years here (burried deep and surrounded by sand) IS it to late to germinate these now? I thought I read the seed must be fresh, but I thought it had to be red to be ripe, and now its red, yet frost will be here within 2 months. Any suggestions on if I should plant them or refrigerate them, or how to even go about planting them?
