Did it go completely dormant then the leaves come up or are did the leaves come up with the bloom?
It should go dormant for a month or more then re-emerge with leaves.

I would say that if you have orange fruit, You will not get a plant. This is normal. The small 4" leaves you see are more than likely small bulbs from side shoots. I didn't get a leaf from mine when they grew fruit. You can cut off the seed stalk or just let it do its thing and get a leaf next year

It's not worth growing Konjac from seed... I did it once just to see and it took for ever for them little guys to get to 4" tall. Its fun and cute... but just grow them from offsets!

I think I would grow almost any Amorphophallus from seed if I had it. Its an opportunity for genetic variation to express itself in new and exciting ways after all. : )

I agree with that. I have a whole seed pod from a friends plant in which he allowed to ripen. Mine personally wouldnt let it the seed pods grow. But the genetic variation is what im shooting for.
