Baby EE

I planted 5 teeny tiny little EE about a week and a half ago. They are all growing like crazy and about to open their second leaves. How long does it take for them to get BIG? Will they have enough time before winter to get good and established? I am in Mississippi Zone 8.

Hi, Sheri - hope all is going well with you. Good question, since they are so small. I would think in your zone they would have time to become established, but I would take precautions by mulching them well. When is your average frost date? You might try bringing a couple inside to winter over just in case.
