I have an Alocasia Cuculatta, aka- Budah's hand, Hawiian Hearts, Indonesian Taro. Its about 8" tall, laeves are 2x3 inches in size, like upward pointing hearts- grows out of CORMS or Rhizomes which are football shaped, 4" in length and and 1-1/4 in diameter at the widest part. Its Growing in a ceamic/clay tray- in very little plant medium, set up like Bonsai style. It regularly drips...like dailey. This is normal from what I understand and common with oxalate type plants. This also occurs with the Dumb Cane plant. These plants are toxic to pets, like dogs or anything that eats them, it will temorarily paralize their vocal chords if eaten and should be avoided. The plants have an internal pressure (kinda like our blood pressure) and the drips come on over the evening as the plant is at rest, night drippers. Very interesting, beautiful & exotic plants.
