| I recently bought about 9 pots of calla lilies. There were several varieties. I noticed after some rains that the pots labelled 'Hot Flashes' were dying back, so I turned them out to get the bulbs prepared for winter storage. I was suprised to find only 1 solid bulb in all 3 pots; the rest were mush. What should I do? Are they goners? Should I soak the survivor in bleach to rid him of whatever may have damaged the others? |

| If they are mush they are goners. They probably got waterlogged in the pots, but hybrid callas are also prone to soft rot. I would wash off the survivor really well to get off any mushy parts (I spray with a hose) and let air dry until REALLY dry. (turn as needed) Boy, I really like the ( ) don't I? LOL |
