Hello, I've had to dig up my callas before their leaves have died off as well as the roots. What's the next step? They were being attacked on the leaves by aphids and ants (down into the soil). I've removed the soil, but I'm afraid it's too early. Is it? Should I plant them in new soil for the winter and spring? I live in Northern California. Can I store them right now instead, like in an onion bag? Or should I keep them in the ground longer?
