I am awaiting this plant from PDN and wanted to get feedback from some pros. Is this as dependent upon perfect drainage like Asian species? I have several options for planting it, including a trough it would look nice in, provided it will do well in it. I can protect the trough in a window well if being placed against the house (with other troughs) seems too exposed.

What are your experiences with this cultivar?
