Voodoo Lily is found in the mountains of Crete, so it will like hot dry summers and mild wet winters ( (Mediterranean climate). We did not see it at high altitude, so I would think it would only need minimal pre-chilling in a damp compost. It's also found only in forests so will not need full sun. The "soil" is very alkaline and stony ( limestone). Good luck. Ian.
