Very attractive oddity. Hopefully it will throw variegated pups as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is just losing this leaf and getitng ready to produce the second petiole. This is perfectly normal for any Amorph from seed. Please let us know if you start to see the second one poking up through the soil in the next few days or week :o) Dan

Since I took that photo all 4 of my decus-silvae seedlings have gone the same way! And the oldest is wilting at the end. No sign of any new leaves yet. Is it possible it is caused by something I am doing/not doing as I don't want to lose them if that is the case?
