Hello all, first time in this forum I think. Back in the mid 80's when we all had pothos and syngonium plants inside, I took a traveling job. I then planted all those houseplants outside where they have thrived and gone feral, lol.
I've had this growing up the side of my house for years on end. I always thought it was a syngonium gone wild. Neighbor now has me doubting that. Anyone know what it is? Here's photo of it.
Next-I have some pothos growing up the house as well. It all came from one little houseplant back in the 80's. The pothos on the ground is small leafed, like a houseplant. But as soon as it hits the house or fence, it grows really big leaves. Is this what's happening with the first plant? Are these little leaves in the bed the same giant leafed thing that's growing up my house?
Thanks for the help,
Lori |

| The pictures are indeed a Syngonium gone wild; the juvenile leaves have a little silver but the more mature leaves are all green and palmately divided. As for the Pothos, it is true that the juvenile leaves are small while the mature form has very large leaves. I have a "totem" of Pothos formed from a 50 foot Royal Palm; all the leaves are very large and some have slits in them as Monstera has. LariAnn Aroidia Research |
