Probably a longshot but.... ID anyone?

A gentleman I traded some plants with sent me this. He had been told it was a type of mini-philodendron species but knew no more than that. FRom what he said, maximum height is only a few inches. Here's two pics:

Any ideas?

I know there is one philo that is called pin cushion due to its small size. Maybe? I dont know any other charastics of it. Sorry.

Now anyone happen to know what it's real [scientific] name is?

Proper scientific name would be Philodendron 'Pincushion'. A selection or cultivar name in single quotes--not a species when it's a selected form or hybrid.

Hmmmm, seems odd to me, greenelbows1, that even if it is a 'selected' form [assuming of a species] that the species name would not still be included -- but then I'm used to orchids.

Well then I guess the follow up question would be: if this is a hybrid, anyone happen to know the parentage?
