mold

I have one large alocasia and two "babies" it produced, and I now have moldy soil, which for some reason has also affected my bamboo even though they are not even on the same side of the room, I thought maybe3 they were too wet, but not sure if that makes sense since the bamboo sits in water, and my spathyphyllum and other plants are fine. any suggestions?

RE: mold

Air circulation often helps with mold, and mold on the soil surface can be discouraged just by stirring the soil a little lightly--I usually swipe a fork from the kitchen (not the good ones!) If it's not too bad but enough that those steps don't work, you can try Lysol aerosol or I've heard Tinactin recommended. Then there are fungicides--
