Just pulled my Colocasia's from the pond yesterday, as the temperatures at night are going into the 30's here. I noticed that Black Magic has several pups that were rooting in the pond. I have cut them off from the main plant and have them in water for now, they seem to be doing well. What is the best potting medium to put them in? I am hoping to overwinter the young plants to share with other garden friends in the spring.

Another question while I am at it. I also have Colocasia Illustris, it has several new plants coming up along the edges of the pot. Do I leave them as is for now, or separate and repot them also?
