Anthurium scherzerianum

I have three Anthurium scherzerianum plants that have been stagnating for want of better word for years under my pergola. They replace leaves and flower occasionally but dont thrive. In contrast, I have one in a pot indoors against the window and it is doing really well with lots of blooms.
I was wondering whether planting them in coir-lined hanging baskets in a chunkier mix with some companion bromeliads would be a good idea. I am hoping the extra light, air movement and lower snail risk would help them. All the information I can find is on pot culture indoors.
Here is a pic of them in their current position. They are planted in a coir and composted pine bark based orchid mix.
Thanks in advance,
Adam
