| Two very nice and interesting plants there. Top photo depicts a Stenospermation sp. Some have rather handsome spathes but, as is evident here, they are shed promptly on opening. I believe that you are probably in the center for diversity for this genus and that there are many new species awaiting publication. Under-represented un cultivation for sure. Bottom is a very attractive Anthurium sp...there are a number of these "black"-spathed species in your region. I'm sure that a good local botanist could give you a tentative ID based on this photo.
