Hey, there, Snow. I took a "sneak peak" at your site, and I will probably be hovering there, since I intend to plant my FIRST Amorph 'konjac' this spring. I do have other aroids, of the colocasia, alocasia, remusatis, arisaema, typhonium, arum, types. But, this will be my first foray into the amorphs. I find them strikingly beautiful, but then I find all things of an odd nature fascinating. We had an A. titanum bloom at the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City in September 2005 this year! I was so thrilled I took the pictures to everyone I could possibly trip in the aisles at work. I didn't get to go see it, but I thought it astounding that our small little botanical garden had a blooming titan and that it was so newsworthy! Takes a lot to make the news here, if it's now connected to bull riding or football.

I need to go check it out. I have been there a couple of times, but it's been a few years. I am working on building up my collection of plants, and would love to try more amorphs.....they just have to be hardy to my zone, or I will need to grow them in pots, dig them up and winter them over indoors. I hear they are pretty easy to overwinter that way. In the ground it's kind of touchy.
