Well, my beloved Monstera, the plant that got me into horticulture may well be on it's way out (and it's my fault...) There's what looks to be a bacterial leaf spot on the newest leaf (I'm thinking Pseudomonas cichorii, but I'm still looking at a couple others)and it has spread/progressed stages very quickly from when I first noticed it earlier this week. There's some suspicious activity on two other leaves that I'm going to watch, and I'm going to take the plant in to my pest management teacher to get a second opinion on Monday before I hack it to pieces. I'm hesitant to cut because I had just recently cut a few older leaves off after a couple had been broken by rambunctious nieces and nephews, which is probably how it got this in the first place (I've been slacking on my tool care, washing but not disinfecting or oiling...)

*sigh* it's a sad day
