It looks like Alocasia Lutea to me. I plan on getting one myself in the spring. I really like the yellow stems. I think they get about 4 ft tall. Maybe someone else knows more, Iam a newbie....

Thanks to you both. I did a Google search based on your replies and what I found does indeed indicate my alocasia is A. lutea. I feel better now knowing what species it is.

I love lutea. It is one of the most stunning alocasias IMHO. Nothing can beat those gorgeous yellow stems and veins!

That's exactly why I bought it! It was a real looker! Can hardly wait untile next year when it gets bigger!
