Very nice photos you have there. I have also been to the flower market during chinese new year before and it is one of the best times to see all those flowers in HK! Wish Bangkok had that kind of stuff during our new year!

The photos are by no means comprehensive, but I was hoping to capture something representative of the scene at Chinese New Year's.

And momiji, I was in Bangkok 2 years ago during Songkran. The Chinese New Years traditions of cleaning away the old dirt to make way for the new seem far less enjoyable than the Songkran rituals.

What type of fruit is the nipple fruit? Shaped like a pear on top, but the color and skin looks like a citrus? Beautiful pictures. Thank you for sharing them.
